VBAs question

Can you please explain, why does a common stealther, not an account seller, need a VBA? As I understand, VBA is used to confirm a PP US account. But why can't stealther use his regular bank account in order to do that, the same account that will be used for withdrawals? Not to burn his real bank if the young account gets limited?

VBAs are used so that it can verify the US PayPal and the user can start to sell on the account without the worry that possibly if the account went down before being able to make money on it, they won't have burned a bank account.

Once the account has started taking in some funds and looks slightly more solid, a bank is added.

One more question. UK users need VBA as well, or they are good to start selling only by using a VCC for confirmation of their account?

Can't US PP users confirm their accounts with VCCs instead of VBAs?

In order to verify the card needs a routing number, eg Payoneer

VCC confirm an address

They are 2 different things.

Since there is no such thing as a UK VBA then you must use a real bank account

After you have verified with a real bank account you can confirm the address with a VCC

The other customers that want VBA's for US accounts are non-citizens operating a US account from outside the US. It is almost impossible to open a bank account in the US without physically coming here, so they use the VBA is order to have a solid PayPal account.

Then, they use various other methods to get their funds from PayPal, other than a bank withdrawal.

But you are correct that the majority of users inside the US use their own bank accounts, rather than a VBA.

Confirmation is done with VCCs but VERIFICATION is done with bank accounts

Not everyone can get a real bank to attach to their account as in US you can only add US bank accounts, so if the person lives somewhere else then it would be hard
