Lift limits, hsbc savings account, direct debit

Hi

I just got a message that I have received too much money and I need to set up a direct debit to lift the limits. Is it safe to set up direct debit? Wont they compare names? Stealth name is completely different than the account. The account is a hsbc flexible savings, will it work?

Sorry for the confusion. The message appears when I log in to paypal, its about the receiving limit of 1800euro/annualy. In order to lift that limit it asks me to set up a direct debit. I have opened a hsbc flexible savings account for this but Im not 100% sure it will work as I read some people saying it wont...

The most important question is: is it safe to set up the direct debit? also will the direct debit work with mentioned savings account?

Can someone confirm whether it is safe to set up direct debit on stealth paypal account with real info savings bank account where name, address etc are all different?

yes its fine as ive always done this, the direct debit will fail but your savings account will stay on paypal to use for withdrawls.

ps adding the bank account probably wont lift your receiving allowance though, you will need to send in documents for that part if the account is in stealth details.

You just need to complete last step, identify yourself or your business type. They want to verify your ID.
