Default I need help please!!

First off, let me tell you a little about who we are. I am a PowerSeller on ebay with a feedback rating of 10,324, registered on ebay since 1999. Positive feedback of 99.1%. I woke up Monday morning to get the following email from ebay:

MC183 FPA NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension - User Agreement - Abusing eBay

We're sorry to tell you that your eBay account was suspended because recent account activity has raised serious security concerns. We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm -- however unintentionally -- to the eBay Community.

You can appeal this suspension. If, after reviewing your appeal, we're confident that this activity poses no risk to the Community, we'll be happy to reinstate your account. For information about how to appeal this suspension, please go to:

...

No where in the entire email does it say what we have done wrong or what the violation was? I followed the proper channel and emailed the suspension people right away, asking what we did and what needed to be done to get the account reinstated. It is now late Tuesday night and I have not heard anything back yet.. My question is, what can I do? The never told me what I have done wrong or told me how long we were suspended or anything? I was hoping someone could help out.. Thank you alot.

Ryan

EBay will never tell you what you did wrong. They might give you some hits but never something clear because of people like this forum.

The only thing you can do is try to appeal the suspension, but if nothing is moving after 1-2 months.. it's time to move on. And the only thing you can do is setup a new account. I recommend reading eBay Stealth to learn more on setting up a new account and the know how to keep it.

Regards,

I have emailed them back and still heard nothing.. Will they reply to me at all? This seems pretty unfair.

Have you spoken to your Powerseller manager? There has to have been something happening with your account to have this happen. Paypal probelms, DSR, negs?
It's a Catch22 now. The more you email them, the longer it will take for any answer.

Mizz,
That manager's name & number should be on your speed-dial, tbh. Powersellers have some extra perks. Try this number 1 866 5515 3229

I finally got this email today.. So it looks like I'm out of luck?

Dear ,

Thank you for writing eBay in regard to your listing concerns.

As you know, the eBay User Agreement provides for the suspension or
termination of user accounts, including if we believe you are creating
problems, possible legal liabilities, or acting inconsistently with the
letter or spirit of our policies. While we understand that you may not
agree with the decision to suspend your account, based on an additional
review, we have decided that your account will remain closed.

Thank you for your time.

R.I.P. :( You'll need a new account.

Don't worry, you'll get the sales back if you do everything correctly. You don't need 10,000 feedbacks to be trusted. It helps, but not needed. You need a nice looking auction and a few good feedbacks people can read. You'll even be able to get back to Powerseller again in a few months. Just buy eBay Stealth and do it right the first time.

Wow. Small world buddy, got the exact same ebay termniation message for TWO of my accounts "suspended because recent account activity has raised serious security concerns" and after sending a quick email to ask them what the **** is up i just get the same, lame, unthoughtful generic response basically telling me im a piece of **** after losing 2 accounts with over 1000 combined feedback. Welcome to the club...

You must have some ideas about why this has happened. No-one is blameless. There has been something going on that has triggered the suspensions. Sorry it has happened but think carefully as to why.

I was checking out a the top 1000 sellers list before (got link from another thread on these forums) and I couldn't believe how many of these top sellers are now NARU'ed. It's damn scary!
