I have never had htis happen to me before making accts...Has this happneed to anyone else ? This was my first listing on a new acct very low key item and only 1

Used to happen to me all the time. You need to switch something up if this continues to happen.

Now it happens to me very very very rarely.

It always used to happen to me. I gave up. But as Im seeing now, the normal is 5 / 500.

I just buy my accounts for 75 bucks and save the trouble and time.

My accounts used to all be 10/1000 (typically upgraded to 30 items in under 90 days). Now, of the last three I've created, 2 were 5/500 and 1 0/0. I'm buying mine from now on too.

It all depends on how you create the account and what services you use. A big mistake people make is in using Google Voice. But there are several other things that come into play as well. And even when you do everything right, there are no guarantees.

it seems like they are getting extremely strict with stealth accts and are really cracking down ..I was making 5 to 10 accts no problem now the minute i list something it either gets suspended or they want verification.. I definitely dont like this.. ...Im not quite sure what im doing wrong its a fesh ip new user desktop and everything .. It happened to me three times yesterday

i used phone.com free 1 month trial just use a virtual acctnumber and they give u a number u can forward to your iphone android or we phone u have

update they asked me personal record questions i got two out of 4 right and they gave me a 100 item 5k limit hell yeah back in biz!!

To be honest there is a lot of trial and error involved with creating stealth accounts. You have to figure out what works for you. As it has already been mentioned, a BIG thing is what type of phone you use. Google voice and other freebie services are a big no-no because they are abused and eBay has caught on.

Another variable is the type of payment method you use during the initial eBay seller registration. I was using a certain gift card and was having great success with it and then all of the sudden one day they stopped working b/c eBay caught on.

Stealth is a forever changing thing. You have to be able to adapt and have some foresight when creating your accounts.
