Default First sale, Required to pay seller fees ?

Hi,

Just set up my first seller account in a while, i already have paypal verified to my new bank account. I started my first listing and at the end it says that i need to do an additional step to pay my seller fees, I only have 3 options.

1, Pay with paypal
2, Direct Debit
3, Pay with credit card

The last 2 options also mention that if i decide to take that route i may have to give proof of identity.

This is all new to me and i thought that i would of have to give proof of identity via a phone call or something if thats what i recall correctly i had to do about a year ago.

Is it much tougher now or something ? what sort of proof of id will i have to give ?

Which payment method should i use ?

Please help i need to start listing some stuff.

Cheers.

Pay with credit card so that you can use a gift card to pay.

Coopster, yeah was thinking of using paypal as its been verified already.

Thanks. Ill wait for the next reply and see the consensus

I have NEVER had them ask for any of this information at all. But that is just my experience.

I have never paid my eBay seller fees through Paypal and I never will.
I pay them a few times a month with pre-paid credit cards always.

Awesome, i used the gift card and it worked a treat.

No verification needed i used a Visa gift card from Australia Post.

I feel safer now knowing i dont have to give my bank details or paypal account.
