Don't know if this thread having no real talk about customs issues this past 2 years is a good sign or a bad one. How are customs procedures these days about importing stuff?
US Customs in VA will confiscate any item from China that was "inadvertently" mislabeled. They will NOT necessarily notify you the receiver of anything - ever. You have to address refund or credit issues with the supplier. I had 1 package that had a legal substance only 3 oz. confiscated -then nada. Got credit from supplier. They had labeled it incorrectly. Why? the item was legal? error I guess. The 2nd package was detained without notice but released after 10 days. It was 1 lb of pure silica sand. Customs can just pocket items they like since there is NO recourse for US receivers. Trust your government?
