Verify phone number -- suspension

I was suspended from ebay about a year ago, but I got back on a few months ago.

Everything seems good so far, but I have a question. I use the Firefox browser and have the cookies deleted every time I close it.

The thing I hate is every time I want to list an item or revise an item, Ebay must confirm my phone number. Does this happen to everyone else?

I make sure to click "remember this number" or whatever, but it still asks to call me each time.

I am just wondering if this is something I have to deal with to use ebay or is there anyway around it? Thanks!

it may be the clearing of cookies. By any chance do you use dialup as well?

Make sure that you use a separate user account on your computer and leave your cookies and flash objects intact. That way wether your I.P. changes or not, by accident or not, ebay will not need to call you because the cookies and flash objects will match up. The separate user account is crucial though, especially if you are running more than one account from your computer. (Of course if you are running more than one account, you will be changing the ip between accounts so leaving the cookies in place is important.)
