What if I got a refund to the PP debit card, but the card is not active anymore?

On one of my accounts, I had the PayPal debit card. But being careless, I had gotten that account limited (and they deactivated the card from the account).

The account has been limited for >180 days so I am working on withdrawing the current funds. The downside is that recently something that I bought using the card is now defective and I would like to return it for a refund (cannot do an exchange). But I am curious to know if anyone knows what would happen to the money? Will it still get credited to the account - I would assume so, but then will the money be accessible or will I have to wait another 180 days?

It's about a $200 transaction, so I do care about this but neither is it life or death.

To get final answer I would call paypal and ask, it doesn't call a million, especially if you call from skype as it's free number however from experience I would guess that refund will get declined by card issuer and money will get back to your paypal balance.
