I can not imagine how the USA IRS law would be able to effect a Canada PayPal account.

Isn't there a law in Canada similar to the USA for their own revenue service? and since items are being ship from the US does that not count into IRS territory?

The country collecting the money has to worry about taxes.

Canada does not have a SS type of requirement for PayPal.

@OP, define "hybrid"....that's a dangerous way of operating.

As for Canadian pp, there are limits and PROJECTED SALES limits so you can be sure that there is some guidance.

Hybrid means that the home addresses are in Canada the shipping addresses are in the USA.

200/20k is USA IRS laws not Canada.

You will need to search Canada's reporting laws. Google would a great place to start.

Not sure if Paypal will report this information to CRA or not. But this request will apply however no documents will be needed or any tax numbers in order to remove this limitation. Just check mark yourself as "non-US" citizen and VOILA!
