 Ebay wants me to verify number. what do I do?
I signed into ebay today and got this message:

1. Receive an automated call at the the phone number we have on file for you.
2. Remember the PIN (Personal Identification Number) you receive during the call.
3. Return to eBay and enter the PIN.

A customer returning a product tried calling me and told ebay that the number has been discontinued, which it has been. I didn't pay to keep the number and now I'm kicking myself. I can skip this screen and use ebay as normal but I feel like I can't avoid this issue forever and I'm wondering what the best way to proceed is because I care about the account. I don't have access to the number anymore.
Does anyone know how I should proceed? Can I safely add a new number? its a stealth account with no other main issues other than this one.
