Hi everyone,

I just wanted to see if anyone has gotten this message lately over christmas,

"Sorry we can't move forward. We couldn't verify your account. If you need help you can send us an email or call."

Just keep in mind, its me buying stuff not selling. Just want to hear from both ends from buyers and sellers.

PP system is worst than Congress we had 2 years ago. Jeez.

Any solutions would be great. Thanks

How old is the account?
Have you used it before without any issues?
From my experience this usually has to do with the age of the account and/or how familiar paypal are with the device youre using.

Any time up to 3 months and/or whenever paypal thinks your account has some trust.

Do I gather this might have been the first transactions after purchase?
Different scenario, imo.

Yep first transaction and purchase. I think another thing is bank account quality not saying using vba. Although I believe I stick to using the big ten banks. I would of been fine. I believe the online banks are garbage

What was the amount? (roughly speaking). That has a bearing as well.

You could, I probably wouldn't, I'd try and make a couple small purchases first then wait a bit.

500$ it's werid I was able to check out with certain things but not others.

Too high as a first transaction.... Had several others talk about this.

Keep in mind, paypal are lookong for trust.

I believe PP and eBay instituted this month. Last was good. It sad they are limited both sides now and making life for us harder.

The account is way too new and the amount way too high. Theres no way youd be able to pull off such a transaction.
Do a few very small transactions (under $10) and wait for awhile - and by awhile I dont mean a day or two.
And no do NOT clear the cookies. The cookies are how ebay and paypal recognize the account. Clear those and youll run into a new problem of them not recognizing the device youre using.

You also have to understand that during the holidays, PayPal, Amazon and eBay are all on high-alert for fraud. Tis' the season after all. But for a new account, $500 is too large a transaction. Especially if not shipping to the address of the account holder. Solkor is right, you have to have a few small transactions first, THEN you can raise the amounts.

@jeffweico, I notice that in the change of system it's like on steroids. At this point do I just wait it out or that accounts done like fried eggs
