Can't Send Payments..."Additional Authorization Required". Paypal Idiots Don't Know
Ongoing issue that even Paypal can't resolve...and it's THEIR fu**ing system!!
Try to send a payment via "send money" and get all the way through to the end...click continue and get "Additional authorization is required". What the hell does that mean? Paypal doesn't know!
Try to pay an invoice...get the "verify your account" and "receive text message" with a code. OK, no problem. Click continue and get "this number doesn't appear registered in your name." Number is VERIFIED on the account. Number verified with the code when the account was created.
Called Paypal TWICE...talked to two different idiots OVER AND HOUR EACH. They tried removing my number, re-adding my number, adding a different number, making a different number primary....both numbers had codes sent to them and verified. STILL get the error messages. Was told to wait 24 hours and "it would work itself out". Sitting here 7 days later, same old caca doodoo happening.
Called Paypal AGAIN...another 40 minutes on the phone, rep is CLUELESS. Account IS NOT limited. Account is fully verified. Account is in good standing. Account has had NO issues EVER. I've only sold on the account, receiving payments. I CAN RECEIVE PAYMENTS JUST FINE!!! Can't send payments, can't withdraw...get this frickin phone verification loop over and over, or "additional authorization required". Paypal has NO IDEA what that means...can't find anything in their system that needs authorization or verification.
So what the hell to do now?? Chances that someone has run into this before are slim....this is the first I've encountered it in over 10 years!
