Default Using Merchant account to accept credit cards internationally worldwide

Here is what I would like to know.

I have a merchant account. I would like to sell overseas and accept credit cards from valid buyers with this account. Anyone with experience selling overseas using credit card merchant accounts? I used to use wiretransfer for all of these sales, but its a hassle and some buyers do not want to deal with that.

So does anyone here sell higher valued items overseas? Do they sign for it? Do you have proof of delivery? What service?

Please add your flag to your account here.
eBay/Paypal rules vari by country.
Go to your "User CP" and list your location.
This helps since eBay/Paypal Rules are different by country.

I can tell that you are not catching on to what I am asking....
Go to the top of this screen.
Look on the left where it says "USER CP"
Click there.

Then on the left there is a column titled "Your Control Panel"
Look down that column until you see "Edit Your Details"
Click on that.
Look in the middle of the screen now.
Right under where it says "Registration Required Information - All fields are required."
This is where you pick your country flag.
"Country Flag"

Do that and the rest of the forum can always see where you live.

Then people can see where you live and give you the correct informational answers to your questions.

So I guess you are not going to add your location.
So every time I find any post you make you will find me telling you to do it.
If you play by the rules then others will play with you.
If you do not then people will not deal with you.

NewGuy121, as a favor to the community, please just add your flag as i am also interested in others suggestions to your inquiry. The back and forth arguing will just get your thread closed and i really wanna know what merchant accounts allow this too

As for your merchant account inquiry, you can try making another Paypal account and geting that one verified (without linking it to any ebay account of course) and send invoices from there. Thats what i used to do. Can be quite a hassle though if you process many orders as you have to do it manually.

Modee, if I go through about half of your posts...you detail out JUST enough information to get someone thinking then you work your way into the

.."Oh by the way..I charge to give that answer, would you like to setup tech support.."

So I think you should be the last person to jugde my posts.

I asked for help and only one person went and posted, and their post was zero help..more of a public flogging. One other person asked me and I would rather have a PM conversation with someone who I was already in a PM conversation. But ofcourse you can always pay me for tech support... (And that was a joke)

One thing they did tell me with my merchant account is that the AVS, which they use to verify the billing address, does not work with international transactions. So you can not just say you shipped to the billing address, because the card will charge still if all the number match.

So what I was told was to sign up for verified by visa or mastercard secure code. I have not done it yet and I do not know if there is a fee, I assume there is. But if you sign up for those services, even if it is fraud, you are supposed to be covered. Interesting tip that I will soon be analyzing. And that one was free!
