I had an idea- I had been paying fees and such to ebay on items sold (and unsold)and I thought to myself... If I have a web site that sells the same merchadise and can process transactions, why am I paying ebay and dealing wiht all their crap? why not sell a coupon to buy the stuff on my site????
For example if I have a site that sells lawnmowers, instead of selling a lawnmower on ebay and paying the fees and dealing with the ebay headaches, why not just sell a coupon to buy it a discounted price on my site? Then buyer is agreeing to the terms of the web site for the lawnmower and your bound only to the terms for the coupon sale.
Any thoughts or experience with this?

its supposed to be listed in gift certificates, so if you had it there then maybe ebay was just on to you

Coupons are a big Scam .. many people with small stores will buy the coupons for baby formula and such for 25-50 percent on the dollar and than cash them in from the distributor .
Ebay might hit you up on some crap, saying you would have mail a physical item... I buy coupons on ebay, Staples, Office Max, Home Depot, and Office depot coupons on there from time to time

Even so, a $2 coupon sold will pay for an envelope and a stamp.
