Unhappy uh oh!

My old eBay account got suspended but my old PP account did not.

I created new stealth PP and eBay accounts in early Dec. So far I have about 75 sales, 100% FB everything's going great until today. I was logging into my new stealth PP account and mistakenly entered my old PP password.

Did I just screw up?

Most likely... :(

But will it suspend you? It's 50/50 now, and it probably won't happen in a day or two, probably a little later down the line.

Let us know how it goes..

I didn't actually log in. I typed in the password for my old PP account. I was not able to log in because the new account has a different password.

Oh wait.. didn't read your post clearly.

You tried to log into your new PayPal account with your old Paypal account password?

This has been known in the past to sometimes link accounts, but it's pretty slim in doing so.

Basically you should be okay.

But if you logged into your old PayPal account, old user name and password on the computer / user account you use to login to your new PayPal account, that'll link you.

Good luck,

I really hope so. Hate to go thru 21 day holds again.

Thanks for the replies.

Yea I agree with Modee it seems like it should be a non issue. Aspkin can you explain what you meant by there being a slim chance of it linking accounts? Have you heard of this happening? It seems like it would be impossible for Paypal to link anyone by a password since I'm sure many people use the same password. I mean all user name/email addresses are unique, but people can use anything they want for their password. I have always used the same password on all my stealth account and never had a probelm with them getting linked.

Ever since I hit my 20th DSR all my listing would show on search almost immediately.

One thing I've noticed since my error is that my listings are being delayed to show up on search again.

Coincidence?

Same password for all your accounts huh? That's probably a bad idea.

Regardless, it's too easy to make a random password and store it with the rest of your log in information. Easy and safe.
