"Access to the money in your account has been limited until you comply with EU regulations. Complete the steps below to comply with the law and lift your limits."

This means I can't use my paypal for now?

Yes.

Assuming the documents you submitted are valid, maybe P/P has not yet had the chance to review them. I wouldn't give up on the account just yet, but if you want to circumvent this limitation in the future you will need multiple accounts.

I can't say. I've never had to submit any documents (I'm in USA). Search around the forum and you'll probably find some useful posts. I know it can vary depending on the time of the year and how backlogged paypal is.

It has been reported that in the UK is can take weeks for review. Sometimes many weeks.

You CAN still use the account, you have 180 days to submit your documents, I have 4 PP accounts right now sitting on "in progress" after I submitted docs to them, that's been since mid December 2015. How long do they take is entirely down to how many reviews they have and how back logged they are. If it was me though, I know I said you can still use the account I wouldn't as ive done it before then end up limited - nightmare scenario.

If you are really confident about your docs and have the gift of the gab id suggest phoning and they do the review whilst your on hold (what a buzz) I usually keep refreshing my emails to see if ive been limited or get the glorious your limits have been lifted email

Good luck.

I haven't reached the limit. I hope it won't cause any problems after calling them.

If you exceed the £1800 limit then your docs get pushed up the pecking line for review, if you submit with little income activity or at the start of the account then they can take months to be reviewed
