Default Mc019, mc062, mc198 all within 2 hours

So ebay gave me the "062" for at least 7 days, as a result of two 019's I got IN THE SAME DAY- FROM THE SAME VERO MEMBER.

It was for the same product. I had two listings for it, one in stores and one as an auction. I don't think it's fair that this jerk burned up my "2 strikes" for just one item.

So then 2 hours after that, I get the MC198- 1 day suspension INI restriction.

Anyone been through this before?

It's been so long since I've been suspended (THANKS eBay Stealth) it was quite a shock. I had an awesome holiday on this account and things were slow now anyway.

I didn't get a suspension, but did take 2 strikes on the same exact item...

Is the number of 019 strikes you get before a suspension arbitrary or is it typically a certain number for most people?

EBay has computer algorithms with pretty clear rules. The number of strikes, the type of item, the length of your account, the number of feed backs, etc. I would not think anything is arbitrary.

Typically it is 3 if you are not a Power Seller.
