Provide your tax reporting information

My stealth account was going great until I got an email from Paypal saying they need one of the items below for tax purposes.

- Your Social Security Number (SSN)
- Your Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)
- Your Employer Identification Number (EIN)

I currently had $19,494.35 total sales which they need any of that 3 options when I go above $20,000.

What option should I use to keep me from listing and selling on ebay. Because I can't sell an item because my paypal is currently limited. Please help me.thanks.

EIN is the best route, there's a good bit of posts about how to get one and how to correctly put it on your account.

Yes all real info and that is the correct website. It takes a week or two for the EIN to process in their records so don't add it until two weeks minimum.

The business name has to match the paypal account

Only the business name is the one that I will use for stealth name and all will be my real info? For example my name on paypal is John Cena, I will put John Cena as business name? thanks.

Should I put as business name the email of my paypal or the name of owner which is stealth (First last name)

For example should I put enimencharlie53 because my email log in is eminemcharlie53@gmail.com or the name that is in the paypal which is Eminem Charlie? thanks.

Can I use ITIN if I will operate ony one stealth account?

I am not from US, so for me it is easier to apply for a ITIN.

Any one know about aply for a EIN with a ITIN that I will get?

As I am not from US is very complicated and confusing for me to understand how these forms and regulations work. But I am learning.

I just want to know if I can get a ITIN and use it with my US PayPal stealth account.

It is the IRS that will give you the info for getting a ITIN.

Thank you for your response. In fact, I already have ways to get the ITIN ( it is looks like pretty easy to get as I can be a bussiness man that do bussiness with US and need to pay federal taxes), but my biggest issue is that if I get the number I will be able to send to paypal after I get closer to the 200/20,000 limitation and continue to sell normally and beyond this mark.

paypal should accept this OK. I have a business account with paypal that accpeted the ITIN.
