Default Paypal release ammounts

So, I went over the release amount, meaning all money will be held for 21 days. Now, my question is, does the payment still get released after tracking shows received? Im only asking because it does not say anything about that. It only says funds will be available after 21 days.

Money gets released 3 days after tracking shows successful delivery. You can mark it as shipped/order processed and the money gets released within 7-14 days as per their policies.

^^I don't believe that's entirely accurate.

It's always like this with business accounts. Did you really think there would be no limitations on a brand new account?

In my experience all new business accounts have a "release amount", which is the max you get instant access to in a month for the first few months. I don't remember for sure if uploading tracking makes a difference, but I'm fairly certain it does not. They will hold for 21 days regardless until you've established a good history.

Funds release within 3 days after they can verify delivery with a tracking #.

Can take a bit longer so don't hold the 3 days as a "rule"

So adding the tracking will indeed release it after 3-7 days?

The rule is 3 days after tracking shows delivery has been made - and it is not set in stone. From my experience though it is fairly reliable.
And no do not add a '⊗⊗⊗⊗' tracking number - nothing good can come of it.

For the record, this is the only account right now, that has a release amount. All other brand new accounts have no holds or release amounts.

You would not know about the release amount until you reached it. It is calculated based on how risky Paypal sees you.

Report back on how long they hold your funds if you don't mind. I'm fairly certain on the last account I started as a business account and got a "release amount" on, uploading tracking would not make any difference. This is because "funds availability" and "release amount" are two different animals. The funds will technically become "available" 3 days after tracking shows delivered just like they would on a personal account. But if you're above your release amount, you still won't get the money for another 21 days. They are two different types of holds, and the rules are not the same.

Your question is different than the one I was asking. If you are running a business paypal with a release amount, you will NOT get the money until 21 days later. Period. Doesnt matter if tracking shows delivered or not. If you have a release amount, anything above that amount is available AFTER 21 DAYS....not the typical 3 days after delivery. No work around for this. Again, this is on business accounts with release amounts....such as $500 as an example. The first 500 is available right away, anything above that is HELD FOR 21 DAYS. Never released even if tracking shows delivered, etc etc.
