Default Good account with lowered standing, worth keeping?

Hi everyone, I have an account 7000+ that was suspended for for Vero violations. I got it reinstated with lowered standing which is down from raised.

My question is, should i even bother using this account anymore? I have heard it can be a real pain to raise the standing back up.

Let me know what you would recommend, and if i should use it, how do i get the standing up again?

My understanding is standing doesn't really matter to much. Sellers with perfect eBay accounts are still seeing their listings off front page.

What was the reason for it being lowered. I had mine lowered once because my DSR dropped but once i brought it back it was raised. The acc is valuable i wouldnt throw it away for that.

7000+ is pretty good and hard to build back up from scratch. I think you should keep it and try to get a better DSR Rating. First thing is to find out the reason why the majority of the people leaving low ratings in the first place.

Several reasons that could be the problem is this: The item is of bad quality, You charge high shipping rates, You ship out to slow.

If it is one of those then get rid of the bad quality items and only list the good stuff, Give free shipping and add the cost to the item price and ship using a faster service.

The DSR search standings don't really matter much if you have unique items and not to many sellers have the same thing you have. If you have a well known that everyone else have then the DSR Search standing matter.

Do those steps and it should help you.

I had problems in the beginning with my DSR and lowered my shipping and added the cost to the item price. I still made the sales and in return got better DSR ratings in the Shipping department.

Hope this helps,

BooMer

Their search standing is based on the last 30 day dsr's aren't they. Just don't sell for a bit so you wont have any dsr ratings. It should go back to standard. I was borderline seller non performance, one dsr was 4.1 exactly and others were 4.3 and I had a lowered search standing. I aint sold anything the last couple weeks, so I havent accumulated the 10 dsr's minimum they need before they start calculating it. My standing went back to standard.

ABSOLUTELY! Just let the account rest. Check your seller's dashboard: watch what is happening, then if you list again go very slowly.
