Default Not as described case......

So sold something directly with paypal (no ebay involved) for 260 GBP. Buyer has been trying to hustle and haggle extra free items with this item via SMS messaging all day. He then sent numerous threats and then decided to open a not as described paypal dispute for the following reasons:

-Different category
-Different design or pattern
-Different model
-colour difference (Severe)
-colour difference (slight
-time of service/travel/event was changed
-missing quantity
-missing parts.

I escalated the dispute to paypal and now i have till 12th april to respond and i have options as follows:

-Issue a full refund and the buyer can keep the items
-Issue the buyer a full refund, he must return the items.
-Offer the buyer a partial refund
-Provide proof the buyer has already been refunded.
-Disagree with the claim.

So 2 years ago a similar thing happened via ebay (a not as described case). And ebay and paypal favoured the buyer and he got a FULL refund and he kept the goods. This is a absolute con, i want to know the BEST WAY from here on so that i get the FULL goods back BEFORE he is refunded. Or he keeps the goods as is.

Ive got endless messages from him saying he wont return the goods, he wants to keep them. But wants to hustle a extra free item from me that was nothing to do with this transaction!.

Someone please guide me the best possible way?

Thank you

I would go with return item. But, be sure to open it in front of postal employee, so if its a rock or somethin else then you can get a letter which is almost automatic win. I have done what you said and disagree with claim and always lost so don't take that route anymore ever.

Next time invoice them as a service.... This is usually non-disputable. I do this when people ask me to invoice them. Its accept it this way, take it or leave it.

Thanks,

thing is im 99% sure he will not return the items. Because i have proof of him saying he wont return it and he wants to keep it.

Already the money has been removed from my paypal. So will they refund him instantly after i choose that option you mentioned? or when he gives a tracking number?.

Now I have had buyers enter my own tracking number I used to ship to them and they got money instantly, as it shows delivered. Then it requires a call to ebay or paypal . But, not to many people that ballsy... However, it has happened to me on ebay and paypal.

How far from you is he? Have you considered eating his face off with a knife and fork?

He keeps sending me £30 money requests as well. Trying to get 30 from me for nothing, this guy is a funny one.

Called paypal before making any move on the dispute, they agreed to refund him the small amount he was asking for. I got the money returned to me and paypal are paying the amount out of their own pocket.

Quite annoyed still really, because the guy played the system. He was abusive and sent endless threats. Paying him this amount will only make him play the system again later down the line to some other poor seller.
