Limited PayPal Account - Reached £1,700 Limit

Hey all,

I am slowly losing the will to live after my PayPal Account has become limited. PayPal say I have reached the annual limit of £1,700 to comply with anti money-laundering regulations in the EU and must complete the steps to initiate a review of my account.

I have previously completed the verification for when your 'approaching' the £1,700 limit which im sure some of you will be familiar with, what puzzles me is what they are actually requesting.

I use PayPal for website transactions mainly, although I sold 2 items on eBay recently and now PayPal have requested tracking info for these 2 items. What puzzles me is - if the limit on my account is because I've hit my annual £1,700 receiving limit, what has that got to do with providing tracking numbers for items on eBay???

I dispatched both items yesterday and have submitted the tracking numbers to PayPal......has anyone else experienced this? Also, do you think PayPal will restore my account once both items have been delivered???

Any comments or advice would be hugely appreciated.

Some advice, setup a PayPal account for eBay and one for your website.

EBay + PayPal they'll limit your account for anything.

But you'll be okay once delivery is confirmed. It shouldn't be a problem.
