Hey just type in Ebay website(eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices) . They know people use the accounts for Ebay.

Also you are supposed to have a business license but some merchants don't care if you have one or not

sorry, because I know this has probably been answered somewhere.
Do you register with a CC or bank account?

So if you use a bank account can you just transfer money from Google checkout to that account?

To put it simply, what types of fees does Google checkout charge?
What type of "real" information do you have to provide?
If you do provide 100% legitimate info are there any problems ever getting access to your funds?
Can you use one Google checkout account for several EB accounts?
Can you save funds in Google checkout and then use it to pay others?
Can you clear out you funds regularily with having your account locked?

Basically, is it a similar option to PP without having to put up wiyh all of the EB/PP linking and account limiting crap?

Bank account

The money does not stay at Google. Google checkout is only a credit card facilitator between the buyer and your checking account. It takes about 4 days for the Google Checkout money to show up in your bank. It does it on its own, you have no control over it. Very simply, it deposits sales into your real bank account every day.

None until 2008, not sure after that

I gave them ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info, it really does not matter. They don't talk to Ebay. Just make sure the checking account and routing number are real.

I imagine if all of your assets were frozen and the gov knew about your Google checkout account you could loose that too.

This is the kicker...EBAY WILL NOT LET YOU USE GOOGLE CHECKOUT IN ANY WAY. They claim they haven't been around long enough to be reputable. I think they are just pissed because they'll someday kick Paypal's ass!

No, no account balance at all. Just right to your checking account.

Same as above

God I wish, I had one sale (my first one) with Google checkout. But if it isn't bad enough hiding from Ebay I also had to hide my form of payment and contact the buyer on the sly. I'm sure if you use Google Checkout for Ebay you will eventually get suspended. Great service though. I had no problems unlike some of the others on this forum.
