Paypal automated phone verification

I want to receive a automated call from paypal to verify my phone number instead of a sms. I changed my settings to home phone number instead of mobile, but it doesnt let me confirm. Is there a way around this ?

I have a similar problem with the Phone Verification with Paypal.

I am using Google Voice number in the Paypal Account, but Paypal require verify some transacction dont take the Google Voice number to the verification...

I'm not sure of the solution for Canada but for US PayPal I believe you can just get a tracfone, go phone etc. add it to PayPal and confirm. Also, I have read that google voice can be problematic these days.
