Default I forgot "my" birthday on my paypal account

This account was set up a while ago, I did not keep record of this little thing.

Now this account got limited and I have to provide documents, one of which ask for my birthday.

I tried to find it on paypal. I tried to find it at profile , but this was no way to get it.

Anyone has any idea of what to do?

Thank you for sharing.

If you created an ebay account at the same time the details should match.
Always keep records.

It was a total mess!

The ebay account was all genuine information of one of my friend. But I connected it to a paypal account with my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information. The only missing piece is "My " birthday. I have everything else on the paper.

It has been 6 months of good use, but paypal limited it 2 days ago.

I always put everything the same on my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts. VCC, email account, everything has the same info. Did you register any of them with your same pp info.

I am doing the same as you now, I keep good records of everything because I know sooner or later paypal will ask us to fax documents. But I did not do so a few months ago, that was my bad.

I probably will explain to paypal that I did not give correct register information because I did not want my birthday be known to others.

Everyday, ebay force us to learn something. huuu.

if you get limited, does paypal hold funds for 180 days from that point or do you lose the funds for something like forgetting your birthday?

'Lose your funds for forgetting your birthday' and Johnny Cochrane would take a class action suit pro bono against paypal. Try as they might, paypal would not really dare to do that. In this case the OP has enough info to slip thro. Tight but enough.

Just a tip. If you upgrade to a Business account... where you fill in the info you will see the birthdate registered.

what I meant by omit on purpose, if you dont have the dob for an account, what is the best strategy..I thought one way if they needed it is to say you just put any dob, for a reason like your security, or say you didnt think it was dob but memorable date..I mean Im not going to just abandon an account without a try!!

I tried divines method of retrieving but it isnt there

Tell them an employee who no longer works for you created it. If it was just a system flag and you not trying to scam alot of people then they will let it slide most times.
