Default IP Address Question

Lets say, when I was suspended, my last used IP address used with my suspended account is 123.234.11.22.

Since I am using DSL, my IP changes everytime I reconnect.

Does it mean, that as long as I registered under another IP, I am safe?

Or

One fine day I may be allocated the 123.234.11.22 (since it is on a rotation, it is very likely I may get it again!) IP address which was flagged (suspended) and would I be suspended again?

You are right. The odds are very slim but you could end up back in "rotation". Just log (or memorize) your suspended IP and check your IP each time before logging into Ebay. IP Burger - What is my IP Address? Find Your IP Address!

I have logged in many times to my suspended account(before and after suspended). I am sure, I have probably used a few dozen IPs along the last few years.

Do they only store the last few IPs you used? The last one? Or all of those that were used?

I would think that clearing your cookies would be a very important thing to do also.
Banning simply based on IP addresses would put anyone using DSL that does this in peril with getting an IP address from someone else who was banned. I think that AOL does the same thing to.
I have used the computer at my office (not sure how that IP is issued, it is a T1 or T3 line running through both wired and wireless routers) on both of my accounts that have been suspended and to the best of my knowledge no one else that uses those computers has gotten booted.
I am kind of the go-to guy in the office for ebay, so if anyone were to get kicked off I'm pretty sure that I would be sought out for advice.

Based on this example, I am reasonably sure they don't immeadiately ban soley on IP, but I'm sure that someone else has a different experience.
