My paypal is limited... Tried using a simon giftcard.

Well, the other day I went to a mall and bought a simon giftcard with $20 on it. I had some trouble at first. I tried registering the card with simon went on paypal and tried to input it. WOuldn't take it.

So I go back and check the next day on the simon website. Apparently the card wasn't actually registered but I click the submit button and walah! Registered. So... I go back on paypal and input the card it takes it. I click the button to charge the $1.95 so it will give me the EXPUSE number. However I get a message on the transaction sheet that looks like this:

PAYPAL INC 402-935-7733 US
Purchase - Membership Organizations not elsewhere classified

Now I looked that up and it apparently is paypal's phone number so no part of it is the EXPUSE code. I was wondering if anyone knows why it has not given me a EXPUSE number yet? And oh yea paypal still has my $1.95.

It happens sometimes

Give it about 2-3 business days max, it should appear by then, if not then contact paypal about it..also The money they credit from you goes into your paypal, not back to your card.

Alright, are you sure though? When card wasn't registered paypal would send Expuse codes after it took the money then I would decline cause card wasn't online registered.

You can also try Amex gift card I bought at local Publix store to lift 500 limit. I had to first remove all my Simon card unsuccessful tries, and just left my original checking and debit cards. It will take 2-3 days for Expuse # to appear, but it works.
