Default Anyone get " MC999 FIB notice"

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to see if anyone ever got this. The credit card I used was my personal and own. NOT STOLEN and the charges went through. This is the most retarded notice I got so far. You got love that eBay is ran by a bunch of incompetent Philippine call center personnel who have no clue wtf they are doing.

Just want to get everyone input and see if this permanent suspension or suspension. What the heck is the difference. Should I just move on. It's too funny my paypal is still running like a champ.

I don't know which clown that they hired to write this. The wording for eBay is always so damn confusing. I rather them put me out of my misery then slowly torturing me and trying to figure out what the heck that it means.

Thanks guys!

(I don't know if eBay makes these suspension up as they go, but I recently got this

MC999 FIB NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension
Your eBay account has been suspended due to the use of inaccurate or unauthorized payment information, such as an invalid credit card.

Please note that you are not permitted to use eBay in any way during your suspension. This includes registering a new account or using another existing account. Doing so may result in your permanent suspension.

Any remaining fees will be charged to your account using the billing method that you currently have on file.

We need you to take action. For more information about why your account may have been suspended and what steps to take now, please go to:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/s...-accounts.html

Thanks,

eBay

If this is your real account, I would call in and see what the problem is. If the charges on your card went through, then the card is obviously valid. It could be a glitch. I do not think it was initiated by a call center worker in the Philippines.

Even if it is not your real account, I would call in, play dumb and act very concerned. At least it might give you an idea as to WHY this happened.

eBay customer service clowns has no clue whatsoever lol. The best answer the Philippine call center gave me "well it suspended and we can't give out this information." Although just want to give people a heads up

Your eBay address and PayPal address MUST match because we know eBay is glitchy as heck.

That message was very clear and not confusing at all. Sounds like a lawyer typed it up.

Did the zip code on the card match the address on ebay?

@yankee

Yes it did. everything matched up. Even the charges went through. Item was shipped. I even called the vendor. I doubt a lawyer wrote this. Either your suspended permanently or not suspended. I guess I been use to the ways of AMZ, where they give you straight up answer, "we are shutting your account down for this reason."

Just want to give everyone heads up. The card is definitely valid this my LEGIT CREDIT CARD. Can't believe this. But oh well. Just going to keep on going.

This is a bizarre one, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a glitch. In this case you have nothing to lose by calling ebay (but it seems they keep re-directing you to the call center in the Philippines).

Those reps are especially useless, if you have no other choices, I would try calling a different department that is located in the US. Tell them the story and they may be able to help you or direct you to somebody in the US that can help you.

My feeling is PayPal or eBay don't know who is "man of the family" is using that excuse to close down accounts. No company would let you send out the item without getting paid.
