Unauthorized Payment + PayPal Limited
DAMN...
Okay so I basically got limited. I dont know if this particular case should be worrying but what happened is that I made a payment yesterday, and right the same day just some hours after I realised it was sent to the wrong email/person so I opened up a claim as unauthorized payment explaining what happened. Today I receive an email telling me that the money has been refunded to me, but my account has been limited due to some virus. Here is the email:
We have reasons to believe that at least one of the devices used to enter your account may have been affected by a virus. To work on this, we have temporarily limited your account until we can verify that your account is safe.
We understand that this measure may cause you inconvenience, but we want to work with you to resolve the situation and you can re-use all the options your account as soon as possible.
To ensure that your account information is protected, we recommend that you contact your antivirus vendor of your device and make sure that this is properly protected and can prevent any attack.
If currently has no antivirus installed, we recommend that you contact a computer professional for advice on what kind of antivirus would be better for your device and how to install it. Once you have installed antivirus and completed the revision of the device, change the password and security questions for your account.
So now theyre asking for ID proof, adress proof and to change my password and security questions. I have done all that (the account is made with real details from a close friend) so waiting their confirmation atm.
Will this cause a big trouble? Is the account dead? Its been 11 months now since I have it and everything was going fine and smoothly...
