Arrow One day a Gold PS, next day a BANNED BUM for LIFE?

Just to say hi to all and a big thanks to the creators of this site.

Not sure if I want to even get back on eBay but I did enjoy reading some of the threads here so I wanted to say hi.

Been on eBay since 1999 without incident.
Gold PS wth over 3,000 + FB's and 99.9%
All DSR's 9.8 or better and then one day - POOF!

I hate ebay.
But revenge is sweeter when served COLD.

PS: To all MODS, as I am a newbie here and there are many rules to follow, please forgive a rookie should I make some mistakes along the way.

Our company was selling original memorabilia and licensed sports items. The sad (disgusting part) is that we are AUTHORIZED licensees of MLB, NFL, NCAA, etc...products. We pay royalties and eBay still claims we were selling counterfeit goods.

We also suspect a possible competitor tampering or reporting on the "low". We have close to a thousand feedbacks that were never left for us, so who knows what those buyers said to ebay, if anything.

Ebay wouldn't have it. Usual run around...

We offered to provide documentation, invoices, purchase orders etc...

Still nothing. They just don't care.

We are making a final appeal, but we feel it's a useless exercise.

As a last resort, we literally BEGGED T&S for a fax # so that we can submit our proof. They did give us one and we will try one LAST time to sort this out.

But I think most of us former PS's know the outcome.

My gut tells me I will be buying "THE BOOK" on sale here.

If however, the fax # and our appeal is successful, I will provide the fax # for those who may be in similar situations.

Ebay is just a bunch of crap, if I were you I would not waist my time with them. It's better if you buy the ebook with trial pay (plus you can get free items). By the time your done talking with ebay you could have opened like 10 accounts.

Termed can you get the VERO companies to give you proof that your Items were not counterfeit and in fact purchased from the VERO company. You hate to let a 1999 account disappear like that.

Until now, their response was classic ebay nonsense.
They wouldn't even ALLOW us to send in documentation.

We hope this final appeal will work, but as with so many of you who are just sick and tired of ebay and its policies, we're at a point where if it does not work, we're going to try to the "modern" stealth method.

YES, it's a CRYING shame to ban a seller like us after what we went through to become the model ebay seller. We hired extra staff JUST to make sure our DSR's would be in the top 5%. All that $ and energy wasted for nothing.

But we're just so tired of them, that it's hard to keep fighting.

No online store yet - we're trying a little on Amazon but to no avail. I was thinking with all the disgruntled ebayers, maybe we should all chip in and make a FBay.com

That's true no matter how great you are to EBAY and all the fees that I'm sure you had to pay, sooner or later for no reason at EBAY will stick it to you, and you fight until you run out of energy. EBAY sucks but they are the biggest game in town.
Philly is right online store may be the way to go. Although it will take time to get customer base for steady income.
Use stealth guide in the meantime

if you are an AUTHORIZED licensees of MLB, NFL, NCAA, product
i think you'd make better money with your own website in the long run

make a professional looking website or pay someone to make for you
and you don't need paypal you can use a proper merchant account to accept payments.

It does make me sick hearing this guys story,, so typical of ebays tactics. you would think they have a never ending pool of customers. It is surprising they behave this way too long-term sellers. I mean is not the motto [“customer service is king”] he was a customer and a long term one. They could have treated him and thousands of others more fairly, with a chance to verify his sales. It is a wonder they have any sellers left the way they behave. Makes me very angry!

Thanks for all the welcomes, ideas, and shoulders.

I will be lurking and maybe even one day contribute something.
Perhaps getting banned was the best thing to happen.
I like to see the glass as half full...

Life is strange sometimes...ya know?
Perhaps this will open other doors for us.

Thanks again.

Under federal law eBay has no standing to enforce a 3rd parties trademark. Take them to court for non trademark infringement.

Thumbs down Appeals = waste of time

Greetings again fellow banned Fbayers, ghosts, sleepers, etc...

Well, it's been a few since my original post, so I thought I would update my quest for reinstatement.

FORGET ABOUT REINSTATEMENTS and appeals!

You're wasting valuable time.

At least for this former Gold Powerseller, I have joined the ranks who feel MOST attempts for reinstatements are a waste of VALUABLE time.

Appeals/T&S = dead end

Instead, get the BOOK and don't make the same mistake I did not doing so earlier. Get your new acct's up and running ASAP.

But if there're any of you who are like me and must find out for themselves, do it fast and get it over with. 2 months of zero Fbay revenue puts a dent in your cashflow if you are used to Fbay 4-5 figure monthly income.

This is at a minimum VERY CHEAP insurance in case your appeal is not successful. As a matter of fact, even if you aren't suspended, now I feel that EVERY serious Fbayer should have at least 5-10 seller accts as backups. Please bear in mind, we did nothing wrong to get suspended. It's just Fbay's F'd up system/policies that somehow suspended us (of course they won't tell us what it was )

Good luck to all.

Oh I feel for you OP. I have heard stories like yours before. And what about all the long time sellers who got suspended under the draconian SNP (seller non performance) rules because they were small fry and were unlucky enough to get a few grumpy buyers in a 30 day period. Ebay said they were "dolphins" caught in the net and eventually reinstated a lot of them. But a small business can go down the tubes in a few weeks when you lose access to all your records. I keep a hard copy of all sales records for 6 months.
