Main account protection techniques
Hello all,
here's my situation,
I randomly got hit with a temporary account suspension for a week. There are 1000's of similar listings selling the same digital items i'm selling, but apparently ebay is picking and choosing who gets through. Regardless, I don't want to risk compromising my main account (that has since been reinstated), but i until ebay removes all similar listings from other sellers, I wish to continue selling the same things on an another account that isn't associated with my reinstated account in any way. (unless of course, that would be a completely unnecessary for reasons I'm excited to hear)
My questions are:
1.) Assuming I get automatically flagged on the new account, How do i ensure that my main account isn't associated to my new account in any way?
In other words, How careful do I need to be in creating a new "buffer account"?
2.) If I permanently change my ip address for the sake of creating my new buffer account, will logging into my old "Main" account be compromised if the new account runs into temporary suspensions?
3.) Does the whole account linking only occur if one of the accounts has been permanently banned?
Thanks for you time,
