 Do I have to be in a country to get a voip number from that country?
I have been checking some voip service providers and I noticed some of them (voipfone and sonotel) requires that I have to provide proof of being in a particular country (address, phone number in that country etc) before they give me a local number in that country for my voip. I have a paypal account in a country I am not in and I need to get a local number from that country to call in. Does anyone know any service that isn't very strict about this things or is there a way to go about it? I have tried to reach out to Ilcarletto but it seems he hasn't been online for a while now.
