Iv opened a few Stealth accounts in the past month and my 1st few payments on each account don't have payment holds. Have Paypal finally stopped 21 day holds or am I just lucky?
UK accounts BTW

Ok thanks all, just odd that its happened to all off my new accounts that i have made sure are unrelated. All of the payments received have been different amounts as well so there is no pattern.
You should still wait 7 days before withdrawing (just like what you would be forced to do if the pp acct was a normal new acct, typical 4 day shipping time to delivery, then 3 days from the delivery notice). Otherwise, withdrawing right away will get it limited. I've been there.
UK business accounts haven't had holds applied in the last month or so, I can attest to this. Did originally post about this in subs section but as I've stumbled across this thread I figured I'd confirm. Make use of it while you can and build your portfolio!
Few days ago received 2 new accounts with no holds too. But it was ok for a couple of days and on 4 transactions only. After that holds came back and all the rest of the accounts receives the holds instantly. I see you posted these news about the same time as i have got mine 2 new accounts without holds too.
Guess they been doing some kind maintainance work and during the time the holds was switched off for averybody. So dont get to excited there, its temporary.

I've opened 7 in the past 40 days or so and 6 continue to have no holds. All UK business accounts.
In my experience it really depends on the amount and the item sold. If it's under 20 bucks and clothes or something you usually get the payment right away. Also the first or second maybe but after that ...that's it holds kick in

My main account that i have used has had 35 sales totaling over £500 around 6 of the paymentd have had had holds which i can live with. I yave also withdrawn £400 from paypal and apart from having to wait 3 days to clear it was fine and my paypal account has not been limited

Yeah, still on-going here.. as you say oddly some of the recent accounts I've opened allow some payments straight through with others going into pending. Still better than nothing- enjoy while it lasts!
Just got this- 40 days in after holds came back onto the account...
