In my experience with Comcast they use Static IP's which can't be easily changed. The ONLY way I was able to get a different IP was by logging into the router/modem combo and switching it from Gateway to Bridge mode. You get a new IP but Bridge mode disables the WiFi router function and sets the box to act only as a modem, so you would need a separate Wifi router if you did this and wanted to use Wifi (duh).
I found it much easier to just get a couple VPN subscriptions.
