Paypal 1099's and Business Account
So I have a stealth account that I purchased here. It is personal but I'm going to have to upgrade to business soon to avoid PP asking me to. I'm close to 100 sales but only about $5.
Here is my question... since it is stealth, it is obviously not my address. If I register with an EIN I have, it wants the business address. I have an address listed on my business EIN registration but then I have all mail for it go to a PO box. Would I put that PO box in on PP when I register the business info?
And if so, would the 1099 go to the PO box listed when I upgraded to business or to the mailing address originally listed? If the 1099 goes to the stealth address, I'm screwed because it also included a VERY close match on the name. If I were that person, I'd be on the phone in 2 seconds to PP saying WTH is going on? I do not have an account! Bam... banned.
If not, how long do I need to keep the PP before I can safely change the address? I could stop selling until 2017 to avoid getting reported this year but there is no way to avoid hitting the limits in 2017 but if I can safely change the address after say 9 months, I could do that. At this point, the stealth is only 2 months old.
