Basic Question

I'm starting to ramp up my sales, and I know I'll get asked for EIN/SSN.

My question is simple:

If I provide an EIN number for my newly created LLC, do I still have to provide an SSN?

I'm a U.S. based ebayer, but I can't use my own SSN since it was on my previously restricted account.

No just providing one should do the trick.

Like fox20c said though, if I give them the EIN then I don't need to provide SSN right?

Sensitive info like this should really be kept private (via PM's). Keep in mind this site pushes daily updates to Google.

The truth of the matter is Paypal has no way to verify any of the SSN's or EIN's we give them unless/until the 1099 is rejected by the IRS, because they aren't a bank. Companies aren't just given access to Social Security or IRS databases.
