Default (eb) scammer paid via ppal / stolen money in my ppal. What to do?

Wasn't until after the buyer successfully made payment through ppal that I discovered this buyer to be a scammer. I have not shipped the item yet.

After doing an address search on maps the address is a business suite. With five 1-star reviews each person saying the place is a scam and took these peoples money..

Question is what is the best way to fix this? Do I report it and to whom?

Just trying to stay under the radar..

Agreed, if you're uncomfortable just cancel the order.

I ship orders to forwarding address daily though. It's not always a scam. In fact it's rare for it to be a scam. Most of the time it's just buyer's in countries which can't order directly from USA.

I actually did ship it. without aNY label attached. so it's sitting in the lost and found somewhere far away. I do have one more except it is not in the exact same condition..so imma cancel the order and refund I guess.

Actually first I'll try and get in contact (no phone number so far) first and explain the above conditions,if I actually do find a contact.

EDIT: found a US phone number within the transaction on ebay. I'll update the outcome soon.

Good luck getting that first shipment back. Your best bet will be to keep an eye on Govdeals for the next couple of months, because that's where USPS will end up selling your shipment. I can say from experience they make very little effort to get lost shipments returned to the original sender. It's much easier for them to just auction stuff off in lots.

I've got some great deals there in the past, but at the same time I'll feel sorry for the original sender. It's VERY common for them to auction off lots of 10+ iPhones, recovered from lost shipments.
