Multiple Etsy (1 Paypal)

I wonder if we use same paypal (different emails) on multiple Etsy accounts.

Someone was mentioning in this forum that Multiple Etsy accounts can be linked since there is same merchant id registered during first sale.
I dont know if its a theory or experince so i wonder if anyone have a real experience with it.

On eBay I know this isn't possible

I would assume its the same for Etsy but I could be wrong...

For receiving money that is ok. For making payments to etsy it means instant deactivation.
