Default PO Box Issue

Hello All,
I got suspended 4 times before I found this forum.
I have used couple PO Box numbers to register my ebay and paypal.
They were all located in the same post office. (so the city and zip was the same)

Po Box 7323 was suspended
Po Box 7319 was suspended as well...

If I open another account with (lets say) Po Box 7320, is that safe ?

It would be safer to go find nearby Post Office with different zip...I can chose quite few where I am.

Were your accounts that they closed actually linked to each other, or did they just say you were "abusing ebay"?

You might try a UPS Store or other mail dropbox service. It's more expensive then the Post Office, but they're also A LOT more lax about adding additional names (i.e. ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info) to the account.

It is a known issue that PO boxes raise more flags than a regular addy (check the stealth guide) - There says you can ask the POffice

if they would forward to you mail using an alternative way of addressing your PO box, such as "#boxnumber POStreet POnumber"

for example in case of your #1 box that went down:
#7323 Sterling Ave. 555

That addy raises less suspicions on ebay side
Which makes sense since PO Boxes dont have such a good reputation...

I think you also raised other flags and the "PO Box" string was the final nail in the coffin to link you. But I dont think they did that only because of that..

take care,
X=D

yes they were all linked to my main account (which was suspended)
There is another usps branch about 15 miles away. However, when I buy something on ebay, I really don't want to drive all the way down there. Also ups and fedex does not deliver to po boxes.

So because you do not want to drive a round trip of 30 miles, you are prepared to waste another account with a box number at the same P.O. What you really need to do is make an address that has nothing to do
with a suspended/stealth account.

If you have access to the chosen address, that will work.

You shouldn't put it in ebay or paypal or you will get linked. But you can ask the seller if they would ship the item to your address, before you win the auction.

Yeah but it's a real pain sometimes. There are a lot of sellers out there that are really adamant about the "only ship to Paypal confirmed addresses" thing...

make a seperate account just for buying...

alter the name and address a little bit, you should be fine

you dont need a confirmed paypal or any of that ruckus.. trust me

sellers just put that to deter buyers.. UNLESS its immediate payment required, then you will need to actually create a paypal account.. but it doesnt have to be verified.. ((there will be sending limits if im not mistaken...))

PLAYA, found a thread that was interesting (to say the least). It gives other options for the address.

Yeah no box, just put #XXXX on the line below the post office street address. As far as I know no one at the post office ever even brought it up to him when he was picking up packages either.

UPS Store works great. I've used them for nearly 3 years, and they encourage you to treat it like a real address, not a PO (ie, 1234 main street #23). To eBay, looks like an apartment or business. Heck, I've received eBay mail and Paypal letters there many times. Like Foster said, they also allow adding names to the account. I've had my dad's name and my stealth name added for free. I believe it's $16 a month.
