Default Google Checkout SCREWED ME

I've lost ALL respect for the GoogleCheckout.

A buyer opened a chargeback and then REFUSED to send the item back also.
I tell GC this and expect them to close out the chargeback isntead they decided in this guys favor! So now he has my item and the money.

I sent out a swift emil telling them that I didnt owe them a CENT and if they tried to take any action i will be cotnacting the proper authorities.

Didnt work and they TRIED to take the money out of my bank account.
They sent me an email today saying they will charge my BUYER credit card and if that doesnt work they will report me to collection agencies.

Now that they have also raised theyre rates to the same as PayPal they are pretty much at the bottom of the TRASH CAN to me

Anyone have any clue on how to fight this..

what was the guy's reason for doing the charge back? did you have the tracking number posted when you marked item shipped?

Google checkout is a bigger POS than paypal! They told me to ship a $1500 order, then provide tracking info, then a month later (without customer request), they issued a refund and refused to do business with me again (as if I'd give them more of my biz)! There is no...I repeat NO live customer service...and they take 3-5 business days to grace you with generic response letter. BEWARE!!!

My advice...call your bank and get new cc #'s so they won't charge your card...they are crooks!

LOL the guy said

Since it had no manufactorer warranty card, it wasnt authentic, and it is illigal to ship ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items and didnt want to get in trouble for shipping it.

I have a few ideas..bout to scare this guy a little bit.

Im not worried about the bank accoutn issue or the cc#s.Simple unauthorized will fix that. What im worried about is it going on my credit report

They ARE.

Im pretty sure they didnt even ATTEMPT to fight a basic chargeback.

I didnt have a single problem with them until I recived a chargeback(after about 2 or 3k processed with them).

One surefire way to tell if a company will cheat you is if they offer no phone support(too easy to get caught in a lie on the phone, no time to think about it )

I told them im about to go do the same to some of their "affilates"(tiger, buy.com , etc and all of their other top merchants) and see how they feel about it.

No reply...Im done with it.

I believe a seller tried extracting what was left out of their old accounts visa gift cards, it seemed suspicious to GC so they examined each one, then declined them all. A couple days later, the main account that was linked to ebay and GC was banned for being linked to x amount of suspended accounts.

Theyre not worth the time
