When you start listing on ebay, the advice is to start slow. But, how much is too much? Is listing a $100 item a red flag? Or are we talking $500+? I'm sure there has to be legit new users that are listing things around the house that costs more than $200 or whatever. Are they getting red flagged?
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
i try to stay under $25 start price but it could sell for $50. i usually list about 10 of these to start on day one, then about 8 on day two, then 6 on day three....all are 3 day auctions. after 30 days i will list 25 a day with some starting price at $50 each.
there is no general rules but it think that the age matters .
i see some sellers with 0 feedback listing Macbook apple laptops in eBay.
so just follow the forum advice and try to get everything correct before you list.

Ok, thanks for that. I have an account that is a little over a year old. I have only purchased 1 item on this account and that was a year ago.
What i do with new accounts is the first week nothing and than everyday 1 item. As soon as i have some Positive feedback 5+, i start listing more. If you didn't sell on your account (even if it is a year old) and still have to become a seller i should list slowly. But to be safe, not to much at ones and try to stay away from listing to much Vero items.
ON one of my account which was 3 months old before selling I am listing over 200 items a day on 1 day lisitngs with 16 FB. No problems with that so far. They are all starting at .99 auction.
How slow should you go when you make a new account? For my current 3, I waited a month before I listed anything(i sell vero) and then only 2-3 a week for 2 weeks and then 4-5 next 2 weeks and so on. Am I going too slow or at the right pace? My items are between 50-110. I want to be be selling like 10-20 a week on an account eventually. Thanks!
