How far can PayPal trace funds?

If a report is made on a Payment can PayPal trace the funds to more accounts if you have sent it again? And even to a bank account?

For sure they 100% can - and if they see that accounts are doing this "sending" back and forth repeatedly, accounts can be limited/axed...

It's just that I scammed someone by convincing them to send it as F&F and the transaction is under review after I sent it from an alternative to my main.

Is there a chance that the person will be able to report it and I could even be prosecuted?

Expect any linked accounts to be shut down if you've scammed someone.

Enough to invest in verified PayPal stealth accounts and eBay accounts to secure my future safety. I don't really want to announce that publicly but a fair bit.

Forum doesnt offer legal advice but if the amount is substantial and the person takes steps...you can expect to be - more so if you have bank accounts involved...easy to trace.

The whole point is I'm going to stop and needed to pay off a few things, when the opportunity presented itself one thing led to another and I got carried away with doing it.

You don't even imagine how easy it is for the police to trace the IP that was connected to your "stealth" PayPal and knock at your door...

Wait doesn't this forum promote Identification fraud or how does that work? I'm almost certain they would love to track you down for submitting ⊗⊗⊗⊗ identities to their site, the only reason why you can do it because when have PayPal and eBay ever taken the customer's side. They only care about themselves, and eBay is hub of scammers and jerks.

Stealth process does not promote identification fraud at all when done correctly.

It's very easy to do something illegal on the internet. Simply entering a name other than yours when applying for a PayPal account goes against their policy.

Yes you are wrong. Quite possible up to now to turn over 6 figures+ each year using stealth properly without EVER having to submit ANY kind of documents (in the UK at least). Also, don't confuse breaching a companies policy or T+Cs with breaking the law. Very different things.

Actually, in the UK this would be by far the easiest part to make untraceable, if you really wanted to be 'invisible'.

A private companies terms and conditions is seperate from the law.

Defrauding people is very much illegal.

It will catch up with you eventually.

You are right, we do not have in Italy "anonymous" internet connection as you do, but they can easily trace money trail, tho.
