Re: Can use paypal business account without having a company!
Both types of accounts are equally effective in regards to receiving payments. There isn't much benefit in using a business account rather than a personal.
It's possible to open a business account without a "business name", but you will first have to get a "sole proprietor" EIN from the IRS. Then you would register using your name + EIN by telling Paypal during registration you will be operating as a sole proprietor. Frankly though I don't recommend doing this, because a sole proprietor will be held responsible for any debt your "business" incurs.
If I were you, I would either use stealth personal accounts or incorporate a multi-member LLC and register for a business account using your EIN.
