"The Name and Tax ID provided do not match IRS records"

When I created my EIN, I put my real name as well as a new business name.

During registration, there are two lines: "Name" and "Business Name". Will I be linked if I input my real name in the "Name" box? Amazon doesn't seem to be accepting any other name because it doesn't match my EIN IRS records.

The name can be anything random on registration. The Business name must match the business name you provider the IRS exactly, or the EIN will not match with the information.

I have my EIN confirmation pdf. On the top of the page, it shows this info:
Real_Name
Business_Name
Address

I put my business name in the boxes that Amazon provided, but it says it doesn't match IRS records. I assume they want me to put my real name.

The name in that should be the name that is on your Amazon account. The business name must match exactly with the business name you provided the IRS to get the EIN.

If you just got the EIN from the IRS, it can take up to 30 days for the name to be active in the system to be able to match with what you are doing on Amazon. If its recent I would wait a little longer and try again

When I tried my business name, it failed to go through. However when I tried my real name along with the EIN number, it worked.

How high are the chances of my accounts being linked because I used my real name and birthdate? I'm able to access Seller Central.
