instant payment and 21 day hold payment

Ebay and paypal for about 2 months, maybe 3. Suddenly I get 2 instant payments around 110 each.
Next payment of 32 dollars is held for 21 days. Next is instant.

Anyone find patterns of what turns payemtns into instant payments? Im seling mostly the same stuff. Household kitchen. Some are new, some are used, etc. I see no pattern.

Read a few old threads back 5 years ago and they dont know either. Maybe since then, it got figured out.
Im hoping after 90, they are all instant.

Actually I did see a trend that when I left money in Paypal like around 200 dollars able to withdrawl, other payments would be instant. Still not sure

I think it might be due to being close to the 90 day process. Just got 2 instants and 1 that said I received cash. None of them had 21 day holds.

Also correct - can depend on source payment type
