important message from Paypal
I am running couple of new PayPal these months, one of them received a message today:
Dear XXX,
Congratulations on your first sale with PayPal! Since you’re a new seller with us, we'd like to give you important information about how your payments are processed.
Right now, all payments you receive are placed in your pending balance for 21 days before they can be spent or withdrawn. However, if you help confirm your identity you can get immediate access to the first $1000.00 USD you make every month. As long as there are no other issues, the rest of the money is then released after 21 days.
Help confirm my identity now
Why?
We want sellers of all sizes to succeed. We’ve found that we can reduce the number of potentially negative buyer experiences and increase confidence in a seller by delaying the release of money into the seller’s available balance.
More information can be found on the PayPal Help Center by searching for “release amount.”
If you have questions, click Help Center at the bottom of this email and then choose Email us or Call us.
Sincerely,
PayPal
After I click "confirm identity", it brings me to the page with the questions you need to answer, have no idea how they collect them as it's a stealth account. So I closed that page.
Did anyone have this situation before? How you follow up usually?
