Hello, i have a lot of ebay accounts and a lot of virtual machines although i think i am wasting space, i want to fill up as much of virtual machines on my SSD's, currently i have 32 virtual machines giving 12GB Of space to each machine with windows 7, is there a more efficient way and easy way to complete tasks e.g ebay, paypal that would use less GB, i have now:
1 Account = 1 Virtual Machine with windows 7

As for the Windows XP Tiny I have (it has 3 different versions available)....the .nfo file has the following info:
1. Full Windows XP (nothing is removed)
2. TinyXP (large components removed, but usable for most)
3. MicroXP (extremely small, only takes 221Mb of HDD space)
All three versions are updated to February 2010.
If you want to read the .nfo file yourself let me know and I can upload it somewhere for you to download and read, I don't feel like copy/pasting all the info here.

You can create a master VM, leave it alone, create linked clones based off of that master VM. You will save a ton of hard drive space. In the menu go to VM, menu, clone...
Why do you use VM instead of new user accounts? Just easier to handle all in one place? Any other advantages?
They both work equally well. If your using individual Virtual machines, you may well have VPNs setup on each, so you can simultaneously browse/use all accounts at the same time.

How does that save you any hard drive space? Cloning a VM creates a 2nd VM of exactly the same size as the first one. I make all my VM's by cloning a fresh VM but I don't save any hard drive space by doing so. It's just faster than doing a fresh install of the OS each time.

@ErkDaddy - using VM's opposed to user accounts is a faster, more convenient, and more secure. There are countless threads here explaining the advantages of VM's. (Google search works better than the forum search)
