Default Competitor

Hello. I have a competitor which always buys items from me and leaves negative feedbacks. Usually his accounts are created in USA. It is possible somehow to restrict buy from me for accounts who are created in such countries?

You can cut off certain countries from buying from you...but you are cutting out a MAJOR sales base by making it the USA...

do not know about ebay.de being different, but generally on the listing, you can go to an exclusions tick box area, for countries....

But then I will make exclusions for USA and I will not ship to USA. When he will buy he will change the shipping address to another country and then he will be able to buy it, won't he?

he could change the shipping address, but firstly that could flag the buyer accounts and they might not risk that....so it might work, if this rogue buyer is not too determined

However, excluding the country might stop the rogue buying, but it might be actually what this competitor wants, eg. you have excluded all your other USA buyers too.....

If you think that they wont stop, it is the one problem I have seen on the forum that is impossible to stop easily....you can go after their accs in the same way, or contact them and have a truce.....

they might be hoping you will burn yourself out and give up, and it depends if you want to burn them out and exhaust them til they get bored or give up.....depends how much you want to win. sorry this is happening, maybe someone else can gve further advice.....
