Will using a dedicated VPN service for first 2-3 months of selling, help account?

If I can't afford to indefinitely pay for a Dedicated IP VPN service...will using one for the 1st 2-3 months on a new eBay seller account, significantly improve the chances down the road (after no longer using the VPN or using a generic VPN such as PrivateInternetAccess) that my seller account survives? I have cleared cookies, cache, flash objects, etc from all computers that connect to my home network and changed my IP address, but who knows...maybe some device I rarely use somehow is connected to eBay by mistake.

A generic VPN such as PIA will kill an account - no matter what was used before.
Paying for a VPN or any other IP solution is a part of the cost of doing business. If THAT sort of expense is your hurdle to getting things done then Im sorry to say but perhaps this is not for you...

A friend of mine was able to operate an eBay seller account for 14 months using PIA VPN and another for 10 months using the same IP as he operated his banned eBay account on, so why do you think I should be excluded from this?

A stopped clock is still right 2 times a day.You CAN operate on the same IP account. You won't necessarily get caught. Something still needs to click in ebay to alert them. But just because he did it, doesn't mean you'd be able to get away with it. People have been banned for less.
