Default We notice you're new to off-E*by transactions...

I just started getting 21 day holds on direct payments (by invoice or requested payment or even just payments recieved as "goods or services") even on accounts where I did not get this hold before. Is this something that is new, that anyone else suddenly noticed?

With on-e*by purchases, there's a fixed number/amount (forgot what it is exactly) before the 21 day hold is released, at least in theory.... anyone know what it is for these "off-e*bay purchases"....?

I've seen this type of hold on accounts before for the first 2 or 3 invoices I send to customers. Last time it happened to me was last year so it's nothing new.

In RE to the eBay question, there's no fixed number that I'm aware of. On personal accounts they hold your payments for the first 90 days (or until they're comfortable with you, which can be random). On business accounts you're usually given a release amount, where you'll have instant access to that amount of payments each month, and any payments over your release amount are held for 21 days. Uploading tracking makes no difference on a "release amount hold," as they're going to hold those payments for 21 days regardless.
